I successfully rooted my Marquee thanks to this thread. (Verified with Root Checker Basic)
But here's the problem. When I attempt to flash a new rom (I've tried the stock rom as well as the light "undeniable marquee" rom) the same thing happens....
- Rom appears to unpack and install correctly.
- Phone resets, and I ge the "S/W updating" screen for several minutes.
- The phone reboots into Clockwork Mod
- I restart the phone
- The phone boots into the Sprint ID rom!
This is driving me nuts.
My Android version is listed in Settings as 2.3.4
Baseband version LS855ZVC-M6600A-SCAUTSZ-3.0.40T
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7 lgd@android-build #1
Build number GRJ22
SW Version LS855ZV9
I see the phone wants to install a system update, which I'm obviously not doing. I wonder if somehow the Firmware was updated and is blocking installation of custom roms, even though phone is rooted.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
