Help no back key when in a call and need to enter a code

A friend of mine has a problem that when in a phone call and is asked to 'enter code' say for a car park ticket. There is no back key to correct mistakes so she has to ring off and start again.

The problem is that while in a call and numbers are pressed, they are sent immediately. Even if there was a back button, it wouldn't allow you to 'fix' and incorrectly entered code.

Thanks
Is there a work round where the code, which I think is always the same, could be stored like a quick dial sort of thing?

If you dial the same number you can add the code after the number. For example if the code is 12345 followed by the # sign and phone picks up in 3 seconds. You set the speed dial to (555) 555-5555,,,,12345#

The commas represent a second pause. You may need to tweak the pauses if it's too quick.
