Root HELP!! No Data connection With Simplicity rom

Ok, so I recently flashed the simplicity rom, and noticed that my data connection whether switched on or off in the settings does not work. I have sms and Call but no data for say internet. This kind of defeats the purpose of a smart phone more or less. Any suggestions?

Try updating your PRL and profile. That works for me after a rom change.

i just attempted this, The result was "Authentication error. Please try again later."

Edit: Okay after restarting 4 times attempting the pri and profile updates after each it worked. Thank you for the help
