Help Help!! Non rooted ICS problems

sorry if this is in the wrong place but the gt n700 manual is not much use for me.
I bought my phone from carphone warehouse and is isnt rooted (woulnt have a clue how to do it or why).
Anyway i want to link my phone contacts with my facebook friends....not all my friends just the ones in my phone book.....but all i can seem to do is join them but then their pictures dont show. The gt-n7000 manual gives options that i dont have.

Also when i try to add a contact into a text message i get lists of emails, duplicate people, and people who ive excluded from my display list!

The Facebook picture problem is one of the known bugs in ICS. The manual is different because the phone was originally released with Gingerbread which did not have this problem.

On the other points I cannot help you much since I just have phone and skype contacts. But it sounds like you have to just merge the contacts again and hide the others.
