Root help on How to root nook color

I have a nook 1.4.3
I have been trying to root it for a while now with no success.
I am new at this.
Please help.

I have cygen mod and I have a 4g microsd card in and it says it is not in. It is not the same one I used to get cyogen mod.

Did you check the image to see if you had the Nook Tablet?

What have you done to your sdcard? Have you flashed it from the link I sent you? If so, what program did you use (w32diskimager? WinImage)?

I could assume you flashed an image and copied it to the sdcard, but you're not telling me much.

"Says it's not in" means nothing to me. No device says that. Are you saying it's not recognized by your Nook? How are you checking?

After flashing your sdcard, you should see 4 files on it when it's plugged into your computer. If you see at least 4 files, it should work when you boot it in a Nook Color. Since the files are specific to the Nook Color, it won't work with a Nook Tablet, since that requires different files. That's why I sent you that first link and asked you to look for the microphone hole opposite the headphone jack.

It's also possible you need to do something special with 1.4.3, which you'd need to determine from that link I sent you.
