Help Help on unbricking

Hi have a lg 855. I tryed the matron 6.1.1. And it didn't work out good at all it brick my phone and it f. Up my SD card so now I don't have a back up. Can anyone tell me where I can find a backup rom or a rom that I can make it back factory :(

Bro, I've got news for you..... Megatron 6.1 didn't brick your phone. Either you had hardware failure during the flash or you messed something up.

I tested the Megatron 6.1 Boost version for almost 4 months and It's solid as a ROCK! The Sprint version is also stable. Also, there is no way on earth a ROM can screw your sd card up. Sounds to me like your sd card failed. If it failed half way through a ROM flash, that would explain your problems.

Anyways, I have no idea what's happened to your phone. Follow the link below and flash the appropriate stock rooted ROM for your phone. You will want to take you sd card out and reformat it on a computer 1st to make sure it's not dead. Then load the ROM via the computer, then place it in your phone and boot into recovery (from a powered off phone, hold vol down + pwr until you enter CWM).

If the sd card is dead (hopefully it's not) then you'll need to get another sd card before proceeding. You'll have to have a working sd card in order to fix your phone. Unless that is, you know how to use ADB which I wouldn't advise if you are not familiar with it. Flashing from a working sd card is the easiest way. Either way, you'll need an sd card eventually.

Sure, I'll be more than happy to help you out. 1st off, make sure that you are trying to flash the older version of Megatron (6.1.1). Also, make sure that you are getting the correct version for your phone... Sprint or Boost.

Once you get the ROM on your sd card, go into CWM and do a factory reset, then clear cache, then go to advanced and wipe the dalvik cache. Right above wipe dalvik cache there is the option to reboot recovery, select it and your phone will reboot into recovery. Then you'll go and install the ROM. That should fix you right up.

Note: If you've been following these steps and are still having trouble, there's a good chance the download of Megatron 6.1.1 you have is bad. If I were you, I would go ahead and just download a new copy of the ROM.

If you folloow these steps it should work just fine.
Post back so you can tell me how good it's working! :D

Okay I tried it it didn't work... so I'm going to erase Megatron that I downloaded. And try to download a new copy. and I will get back with you

Lol sorry... you said I need an older model of that rom right? Which version of the wrong do I need. 6.1.1 or 6.2.0 or what.....and where can I download it

You need the version that is in the Megaton thread bro. Put it on your sd card. Then reboot into CWM. Do a factory reset and wipe cache. Then go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache. After that reboot back into recovery and flash the Megaton zip. After it has finished reboot recovery again and go to advanced and fix permissions. Then reboot the phone and let it sit for at least 5 or more minutes. You should now have a working ROM. If you don't you didn't do something right.
