Help HELP-Persistent Notifications

Lurker
I for the life of me can't figure out how to disable persistent notifications. My phone would be on silent mode due to a meeting, and a sms will come through, but if I don't open and check it within 10 seconds the phone vibrates! Is there any way to disable or change this? I'm using stock HTC messages app. I've also noticed that the same thing will happen for other app notifications, like Facebook etc....

The same thing was driving me crazy also. To turn off the constant reminder, there is a setting under "Accessibility". There is a sub-heading at the end named "System". The first setting under "System" is "Notification Reminder". When set to off, you won't get the constant sound until you acknowledge all the notifications. I'm pretty sure that's what you're looking for. Let us know if that's it. Good luck.
