My phone has been acting strange lately. It was playing music while on the lock screen, and it turns off randomly. And it unlocks my screen randomly as well. I find my phone was unlocked and on the home screen. I don't have carrier service rn cuz my sim card slot broke :( so its not stagefright. And I never used a sim card ever since I got liquid smooth. I have an s3 i747m on liquid smooth 5.1.1 rooted, and I need advice.

The music could be an app or something in the browser, that's running. Music and streaming apps are usually intended to go on playing even if the device is locked.
Shutting down randomly, does that happen when the battery is below a certain percentage, if so could be a sign that the battery is worn out and needs replacing.
Have you actually got the screen locked with a PIN, password or pattern, or is it just swipe to unlock? Because it would be interesting to see if it unlocks itself, if you've set some kind of security, that only you know.
Nobody else has access to your phone do they?

You could try factory resetting the S3, see if things start happening again after that, change your Google password as well, just to be sure that nobody else has access to your account.

I got my battery a month ago, and it turns off like around 50%. Also, the music plays from the music app and it shows on the lock screen. So I'mnot using any apps. Also, iI'mnoticing if I put my phone down, and 5 minutes later, its warm. it's not charging, its just sitting on the table. I have apattern and it just unlocks itself. It's weird. No one has access to my phone at all, because its usually in my pocket or on my bed if Iwere to use the washroom or something. And nno onegoes in my room anyway.

Is the battery an original Samsung or a third-party aftermarket one, if it's the latter, I've had a duff one for a Samsung phone, purchased cheap in Shenzhen, China. The music app is supposed to do that isn't it, so you can control and still listen to your music without having to unlock your phone. Try using a PIN or password instead of pattern, I would be very surprised if it managed to unlock itself then, and if it does, could be something sinister going on with it. Even unlocking itself with pattern should just not happen, unless you've set something really simple, like just a straight line, and it's accidently doing it in your pocket

On my phone micromax canvas fire 2
When I on data connection
Some apps like hola launcher and battery saver automatically start installing

And when I uninstall them and reboot my phone they are again installed

No its the original OEM battery I ordered online from Samsung, and I don't have much apps, I have Facebook, fb messenger, templerun, and subway surfers. I'm to lazy to download music and its the sample music that was automatically playing. I disabled all the gestures, because it takes too much battery. And the music started playing when the screen was off. Also, I have a complex pattern. Start from the bottom left, go diagonally and then go all the way straight down, left 1, up all the way, left 1,and down 1.

Also the music thing from lockscreen only activates if you already had music playing and u lock it, then u can control from lockscreen, but I wouldn't play the sample music
