Help help! phone got real slow

Phone is freezing up. Don't know why. Help please. Can hardly even make this post. Keep getting apps not responding messages. Download speeds are ranging from 8kbps 2 40kbps. Tried deleting throttle files (data/system/throttle) helped a little. Carrier says everything OK on their end. Signal strength poor here but last week was seeing 350+kbps same area and w/one bar. Main problem right now is phone itself Is slow even offline. Also, is there way 2 manually stop apps from starting on boot like on pc? Im rooted and would like to edit file myself. I've tried different apps but don't know if they edit boot list or just kill app when it starts. Plus app mgr is just another app always running slowing me down.

So far I've modded read_ahead_cache changed from 128 to 1024kb init.d script automatically changes on startup. And another script somewhere maybe init.rc can't remember, makes init.d scripts run. This works fine.

Also installed 3g/4g speed optmizer. And ran another script, can't look to see what it was called. I'll edit this.(edit, script was called 3gturbocharger_installer_update.) Anyway, they seem to have helped for a minute. Short lived though.

Scanned With Norton and AVG. No viruses.

Earlier was getting low memory warning saying wifi couldn't start due to low memory. Thing is that I didn't even have wifi enabled.

Also cleared caches, cleared dalvik cache too.

Any ideas?

Seems to be better now. I made some adjustments with system tuner. Much better now. Also deleted a bunch of apps I didn't need, moved some others to sd card. I've had this phone for about 2 weeks and SD card almost full. Have to get larger one real soon. Btw this sure is easier with tapatalk.

Sorry that nobody could help you out. For me, accidentally bootlooping my phone was the best thing that happened thus far. Wiped it completely, and now I'm keeping it very lightweight (very few background apps, and sync is off most of the time unless I'm at home or plugged up).

I don't personally believe in apps like 3G boosters, wi-fi boosters, and overclocking/underclocking apps but I will give system tuner a try.

I seem to have fixed the problem by deleting a few apps I didn't need and moving a few off the phone. I balanced the apps so I have about 150-190mbs free space on the phone and same on SD.

How did u fix the bootloop if i were to get a bootloop how to fix it i have kyocera rise

I did and it does make it a little fast while being throttled and make sure you change permissions to rw.

OK. But I'm new to all this rooting thing. Can you or anyone explain the permissions thing? I have ROM Toolbox Pro.

Using root browser long press on the throttle folder then go to permissions and remove the check from execute. Permissions is how your phone reads the folder.

Your welcome you can also try changing the multimedia setting by dialing ##3282# and entering your MSL number and changing the 554 and 8085 to zero I found it helps a little to. But either way you can always change it back. It doesn't hurt anything either. Also the phone does reboot after you exit out.

Had a good few days with my hydro... Until last night. For some unexplained reason some of my apps in my SD card disappeared or uninstalled. I had to download and install them again. Why did that happen? Everything was fine.
