Help - Phone scrolls WAY too far!

[imdabossou]

Hi, I got a new android phone and everything is perfect apart from how far it scrolls. Ive googled this for ages and with no results. When i go onto anything that scrolls down and flick my finger and release it it instantly flies to the end with the tiniest of flicks, so when i scroll i have to keep my finger on the screen so that it doesnt fly away.
Its really annoying, is there a way to fix this?

And also in games where you move forward with one finger and aim with another, while aiming the movement stops.. do i have a faulty touchscreen...?
