My phone was stolen today, long story short, it's gone for good. I've deactivated it but I don't want them able to use my google account if they swap to another sim or use it on wifi, is there anyway I can stop this? Is changing my password gonna stop the phone? Please help!

Sorry to hear about your phone. Had you enabled its internal tracker ? that could help you to find your phone.
Just change your google mail password, nobody will be able to use your gmail account... rest assured.

Thank you and yes I had but they turned off GPS.

When changing sim's im pretty sure you get a popup message to re-enter the gmail password.
Thats what i heard from people, who buy sim-cards from usa/uk to use as a secondary sim to access the paid Android Marked

Yes, every time I swap SIM in any Android phone I must enter the password again.

However, you can still access Gmail already cached on the phone - and contacts etc.

Did you use the security functions on the Galaxy S? You can remote wipe, or even trace the phone.
