Root Help, phone stuck in reboot

Hi all. So 'm having some serious issues w/ the Bolt and trying to get a few more months out of it. Basically, phone boots up, goes to splash screen, then wham, phone reboots, and repeat infinitely. I can get to HBOOT. But when I try to go into recovery for instance, it does the same exact thing. Splash screen for 10 seconds, then reboot and repeat the cycle.

From doing some research, I think my only hope is to flash an RUU as a renamed PG05IMG.zip. I guess my question is, is what is this file I'm supposed to try? My radios are the one's ending in 6w_1.

Or if anyone has any further input, that would be great, but I'm pretty stuck. I think flashing saome form of PG05IMG.zip is my only hope, because I can't get any further.

So an update: I did find the .19 RUU, flashed in HBOOT, and instead of my nice splash screen w/ the Android girl holding her tata's, I get the white screen w/ HTC, then reboot....f-me. No fun. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open, but it looks my bolt is done. Sucks, just got a new Note 10.1 and was really relying on the tethering.
 
were you revolutionary or shadowmite rooted? in other words,is your hboot still s-off? if so,you can try running a slightly older ruu,run the newest .exe file you can find,we have seen them seemingly fix rebooting issues before(tho its not known for sure that a PG05IMG would have not fixed the prollem as well)

if this does work,you can then reflash recovery,reflash rom,backup or superuser,and reflash your ta tas :D

if it doesnt work,sounds like the bolt may be done. if youve got any warranty left,try and get them to send you a new one. maybe youll get lucky and they send you a rezound or inc 4g :smokingsomb:

download the utility,and run as administrator if your version of widows permts that

put the phone into fastboot(from the hboot menu),plug it in when instructed. since your s-off,the utility will "upgrade" all partitions(except hboot) to 2.11.605.9.

hopefully the bootloops will stop :)
 
Thanks, but no go. Won't recognize my USB, which is weird cause I hear my PC recognize it when I plug it in. Oh well, it's been a fun ride. RIP Thunderbolt....

Gonna revert back to the X for some time. My wifey is making out in the deal. Gonna go get her a S III cause her contract is up, then I'm gonna use her old X for a bit. My contract is up in March, so hopefully something bigger and better comes along....
 
Yeah, I press fastboot, then it says fastboot above the other options....so I'm assuming thats fastboot...

What does HROOT USB do?
