Help!! Phone wont charge!!!

My phone went flat so I plugged in the charger, it booted u like normal, I went back to it ten mins later and it wasn't charging, swapped chargers then turned it back on, now it shows the LG screen, then switches to a battery cell which is completely grey and has a yellow sign with a black circle arrow that changes direction... any ideas? Thank you in advance

It's surprising that 10 minutes of charge gave it enough to even flash on and then shut off. Let it charge for 24 hours.

If you actually managed to drain the battery below about 3%, the safety fuse went and you'll need another battery. Charging a completely discharged Lithium Ion battery is dangerous (fires are the least nasty thing they do - they can also explode) so there's a safety circuit in the battery that disconnects it from the world if it gets discharged below its safety point.
