Help Help please! Droid ignorant.

Hi, I have just bought a Motorola Droid 2 Global from a friend who hated it and got herself an I phone. I use Straight talk. Call me stupid but I was told that I could switch my straight talk number to this Droid but I find that I can`t. Is there a way or am I wasting my time looking for a way?

I don't believe the folks at "Straight Talk" will "flash" their software onto phones like Crickett does.
