help please?? im losing my mind

HI i swapped sim cards in my phone(xperia mini pro sk17i) and when i put the usual one back in it took me to setup and i put in my usual gmail email address and it wont let me sign into my gmail account, it says ''there is already a @mygmail on this phone'' and that it already exists, but, i can't USE it, i can't use play store or facebook or anything, how do i access my gmail account thats already on it? im so confused lol

Wiping the user data may resolve your issue. Have you looked around to see if you are already logged into your gmail? That may be the issue.

I have the x10 mini pro and I find Sony phones have weird little issues, but I still love them.

it tells me there is already my @gmail account on this phone but i don't know if it's logged in, it can't be because i can't access the play store or facebook app or anything, i can use the browser to go online etc and use other apps

Can you go to settings > accounts & sync?

Can you see which accounts are logged in? Also, your login information may be on your sim card, so I recommend trying to log into Gmail on wifi with your sim card out of your phone to rule that out.
