Help Help please - no email notification

Hi all. I have have the galaxy s3 and it's been working great. Ever since the jellybean update I haven't been getting a notification when I get a new email. Ive checked the settings and everything's the same as before. Am I missing something?

I would just turn off the device, remove the battery, then put it back in and turn the device back on.

This sometimes solves minor bugs.

Sometimes though in updates things get a little messed up so we will see if that solves it.

Lastly have you tried reinstalling your email app? Which app are you using for emails?

Thanks. I'm using the email app that came with the phone and am on gmail. It's worked great up until jellybean. I'll try taking the battery out and see if that does the trick.

Make sure you have your sync on.

The issue with mail not coming through seems to be sorted. I had switched the sync off doh
