Hi all my daughter had a galaxy s4 which she broke and I bought her a galaxy a3. We tried to put the sdcard from the s4 into the a3 but it doesn't fit. Do they use different sd cards. As her card fits my galaxy a5.
Are you referring to the microSD card for storage, or the SIM card for communication? MicroSDs are an industry standard size: SIM cards may need to be trimmed or adapted. Your carrier store can help you with that.
Are you sure you are putting it on the correct tray? One tray houses the SIM card, the other is a hybrid slot. It can fit an SD card or a SIM card. Post pictures. It is impossible to have an SD card that doesn't fit because SD cards only come in 1 size. SIM cards however come in different sizes. Hence I think you're putting it in the wrong card tray. It would be best if you can post pictures.
