Help help please screen issue

anyone with HTC ONE X

experiencing occasional screen banding/static type flicker

when watching youtube/watch videos at all.

It comes, and goes very quickly...

i have seen some people say they have experienced this,

but wondering if it is a hardware/software issue and

should just sit it out...or to send it away to have looked at.

Hi Brodie, what's your software version? A lot of the screen issues have been fixed with updates.

Hi there its 1.28 which is current for my branded handset
Any ideas

It's difficult to say with 1.28, sorry. As far as I'm aware, 1.29 cured most of the screen problems so being 1.28 I wouldn't like to say if it was hardware or software.

There's no harm in sending it away, but it might be worth waiting to see if the update fixes things. How bad is it?

I used to have that exact problem but a software update fixed it (I'm currently using 1.29.401.7).

Perhaps ill wait and see if its fixes afterv1.29

My One X started with this issue within a week of buying it so i got the handset replaced. New handset has never had the problem at all.

im thinking it may be a driver issue with some screen makes...and being it comes, and goes very quickly...

i think ill wait for 1.29 update (im branded) and see how it goes...

i suppose if it still continues can send it away...
