Help Please?

so the error i see is sideload error system 7. online it states that its probably because the unit is rooted. how do i remove the root if i cant boot up?

just so we are clear i am taking the firmware from the forums for my sm-t337a and using the pda tab in odin then clicking start. it fails everytime. that is what i am supposed to do correct? (keep in mind i did try the ota update on the memory card as well and it gives me that sideload error)

I've been reading over the thread again. Did you ever try a factory reset before you tried flashing with Odin?

I've been searching the web again for the 5.1 OH4 firmware tar file that you can flash with Odin and so far no luck. AT&T won't release it and no one has a leaked version.

Sorry trying the update thru recovery didn't work and until someone post the 5.1 firmware I think you are stuck.

i did a reset yes. if we are trying the same thing. am i wrong thinking that this wont work because i am still rooted? could i not get a rom from another tab with the same specs as mine and use that to get it to work/? i am an extreme noob. sorry

AT&T locked the bootloader on the 337a so you can't install a custom recovery or custom ROM.
Firmware for same tab but different carrier like T-Mobile won't work either.
Being rooted doesn't help in your situation and the update thru recovery to try to get it to reboot was a long shot but not much I know to try.

I sent a PM to the person that I mentioned that had similar problem back in December to see if he was able to get his back up and running.
I know he was looking for someone with a working tab that would extract the stock ROM but don't know if he had any success.
