my LG Revolution started acting up so i had to factory rest it and when it started to start up it went to clockworkmod screen and i cant do nothing

Sounds like you're rooted and you need to reflash your ROM. I would move you to the LG Revolution - All Things Root subforum, but it doesn't look all that active there.
So this is what you do: Go here and download a ROM (they're marked [ROM] in the thread title). Then go to Advanced in CWM, and mount USB. Transfer that ROM to your SD card, then unmount the USB driver and wipe dalvik cache (in Advanced) then wipe cache and factory reset it again. Then flash that ROM you downloaded and reboot. That should fix you up.
