Help please, last year, there was a system update with my HTC Incredible, and after it downloaded the update, it said that i need to reboot it to finish the update, but when i did, it got stuck on the white screen with green HTC in the middle; from then to now, ive been doing research, doing all the options with Vol down + Power key, but nothings working. can someone help me fix it? here is what it says up the top in the Vol down + Power key menu:

1) no, because i cannot afford any new phones in this shit hole they call a town >.>
2) yes, alot of times, i've tried factory resets; downloading the update and putting it on my sd card, then 'hboot' the thing; i've tried Recovery; i've tried fastboot; i've even handed it into a computer technician, and he doesn't know what to do, but he asked if the plastic patch thingy is suppose to be pink, but i didn't even know that it was there/

According to the info you posted above, you do have an Incredible S...

HTC Incredible S - Full phone specifications

Was just confirming, because this is the forum for the original HTC Droid Incredible on Verizon wireless.

But anyway, you can try finding the factory image for your phone here and installing it. It should get you back up and running:

oh lol, it just says incredible on the battery, but nowhere else, tysm, im going to test your 2nd link now, if it doesnt work, im going to move / copy this q to incredible s section
 
ok so, where does it say which android version the phone is suppose to be? and, to install it, after i put it on a clean SD card, do i Hboot the sd card?
 
uhh, another problem, when i do the filter thing:
Device: Incredible S
Carrier: HTC
Region: AUS (Because i live in Australia)

it says there is no matches, and then i searched for US because thats english aswell, but there is none, which one should i download?
