HELP PLS!!! ( screen doesnt turn when i get text messages )

i got my esteem like 2 weeks ago i have the zvd and its rooted,, everything was normal when recently i notice when i get text messages the screen doesnt turn on any1 can help me pls?

Has it always turned on when you received a text? No Android phone I've ever owned has turned on upon receiving a text without a market app and specifically telling it to do so. I use to have Handcent do this, but I don't like the screen coming on so I made it stop.

+1.. Same here.. Used to use goSMS for that feature but I prefer to have the notification light.. Still use gosms though..
