Root HELP PlS with HTC ONE SV

I was in process of root my daughter's HTC ONE SV (from boost mobile) and I ended with a brick, of course I was in a wrong forum (cricket) but I found this forum, I have been reading hundreds of post but I cannot find the solution. Let me explain what I did, I unlocked the phone without any problem, then I flashed recovery.img and I installed superuser.zip, when I restarted the phone I installed a root check app to see if what I did was good, I did something wrong because the app said the phone is not rooted, then I do not know where I read, I had to do this: fastboot flash boot boot.img, and i did it, after that every time I try to restart it, the phone stop in the white screen that say (in green letter) htc quietly brilliant, turn off, and go to the same white screen, like a loop. fortunately, I still have acces to the Bootloader, any clue how to fix it? please, I will appreciate any help.

by the way, this is the bootloader info:

Which boot image did you flash? Do you have a link?

I'm fairly certain you flashed the wrong boot.img (kernel) and that's why the phone will not boot. I do not have a copy of the stock 4.2.2 kernel handy, but here is a link to Shin's 4.2.2 kernel.
http://www.mediafire.com/?92qn0g949750vg0

download it to your computer, rename it to boot.img and install it with
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
and the phone should boot fine.

Also, cwm isn't compatible with the 4.2.2 update. You need to use twrp which can be found here:

like I said, I got boot.img and everything else from a wrong forum (for cricket phone) but it does not matter now, I tried your link ( boot.img) and I flashed it like you said and nothing worked, I've been reading and the problem seems to be my phone does not have Operating System, I assume I need to install one.

Ok, well, I'm at work at the moment, but once i get home I'll go back to stock and make a backup in twrp.

You can then place it on the sdcard and restore it and you should be back up and running :)

Just letting you know, i haven't forgotten about you. The file is over 600mb and my first upload attempt failed. I'm going to try to upload it to mega once i get back home (i have an event to go to)

Stay tuned :)

do not worry, I did the backup with another HTC ONE SV, but when I put the micro SD card into the bricked phone, the TWRP folder disappear. I cannot make a restore. why?

:eek::confused:

Did you put it in /sdcard/twrp/backup/":Android id:"/
?

(where "Android id" will be several letters/numbers)

Example:
/sdcard2/twrp/backup/HT1234567890/k2_cl-backup/

Edit- My experience is if the "Android id" doesn't match your phone, it won't show up.

-Insert card into YOUR device.
-Make a backup (i recommend unchecking everything except cache since your system is corrupt)

Once you've done this, transfer the backup to your card in the folder i suggested above. If it still doesn't work, let me know and we will try "plan b"

If you restore my (broken) rom.zip so you will have a phone that boots, then follow the steps to become s-off, you can use a file called a RUU to revert the phone to stock (4.1.2)

Once this is done you can take the over-the-air update to 4.2.2 and go from there. If you want to go this route, let me know
