Last week while surfing on google chrome a window popped up that said a virus was detected. I wasn't quite sure that this was real so I looked past it. I downloaded the free 'Lookout Scanner' antivirus app and it said that no malware or spyware was detected on any of the apps. As of last night however, my phone has been acting a little funky. It completely reset the time and date on its own. I also could not access chrome. The message read something like, "Request cannot be processed to protect your own privacy, etc...". Furthermore it seems a tad bit glitchy, Some of the app windows are overlapping each other on the screen. I just downloaded the 'security policy' update and it seems like I can use chrome again. Is this issue resolved? If not, how can I fix this? Thanks!

The Chrome window that popped up was an AD! Ads are supposed to say stupid shit like that to make people panic. Anyways, I don't know what you did after that, perhaps it was something you downloaded? In any case use a proper antivirus such as Kaspersky etc. to check, if they say there is no virus then chances are very high that you don't have a virus

I'd recommend clearing Data and Cache from Chrome and be careful what websites you're visiting.

you can also try removing all of your apps and test it. .. android OS is not that easy to have a virus. . .
Instead of uninstalling all your apps... you can try going into "safe mode"... reboot your phone and after it it starts to boot up hold the down button until it's completely booted up...
Safe mode basically runs your normal system without any non system apps that you have added
