Greetings KarlJose,

Welcome to the forums.

A few questions...

1. Can you still download apps?

2. Do you have any apps that require service like Pandora or any streaming type apps? Do they work?

If you can download apps, or have apps working apps that require internet, the problem of course is not in your connection.

If you can connect to the appstore, try downloading another browser to test..Chrome, Dolphin etc.

If another browser works, then you can try clearing out the cache your original browser. That should be found in settings, application manager.

If nothing works, then you are either not connected to your router like you think, or your router is blocking access to your device.

Sometimes just rebooting your router is enough to clear out occasional errors.

If that doesn't work, your gonna have to dig into your router to see if it sees your device, and if so why its blocking access.

Make sure it's not having IP issues with your device.

Hope this helps

Yes, it seems that a lot of people have this problem. So did I.

The problem lies with the Mac, gateway IPv4 addresses of the phone.

I also have a Galaxy S2 with WiFi problems. 9100M with ICS. The phone itself would connect to network no problem, but there would be no data transfer. You can still see signal strength and connected messages.

And to me it seems to be IP addresses' problem. The all the IPs(IPv4, Gateway) for this phone are all wrong(or it should be wrong). And the Mac and IP address for my phone doesn't match the addresses' that is connected and displayed on my router. I changed from DHCP to static and manually typed out the IPs and it disconnect from the network.

The router seem to have a Android device connected to it, but the MAC and IPv4 addresses are different from my device.

None of the apps that require Internet have access to Internet when it says it's connected to a network. So it's not just the web browser problem. This happened very recently. Never had this problem before.

Try to restart/power on/off the router. See if that fixes it. I don't know if there's any apps that get's you a new set of IPs for your phone. Now my Wifi is working.

I posted that on another thread. With another person with the same problem. It seems to have occurred to Samsung users. Right now the problem is fixed for me and all the IP and mac addresses are back to normal.

Is there an program that allows you to reset your IPs?
