Help!! Problems with downloads/bluetooth to SD card.

Hello,

I have an HTC one V and it is my first smartphone. I haven't done any "rooting" or whatever to my phone, just to preface, I'm just a layman lol... anyways how do I change the settings so that my bluetooth and downloads get stored on my microSD card? I've tried downloading music and bluetooth, but everytime it says "not enough space on SD card". That as on a 4GB kingston, so I tried a 16 GB lexar, and then a 16 GB kingston, all the same thing happened. I've downloaded apps that have been stored on the SD card, and I can get videos/music onto it by plugging it in my computer dragging it in, then manually putting it back into my phone, but that is a hassle. I've gone into the "apps" and "storage" tabs of settings but they don't provide any options.... any ideas? please help!!
