Help - Re .com.androidsystemui message

I have a CnM 10DC-16 Touchpad running on jellybean 4.1.1 problem is when I start it up now it keeps popping a message up saying

.com.androidsystemui has stopped working

this has disabled my status bar along the bottom which means when I am in middle of surfing etc or browsinf I cannot go back a page or go home or just come out of program. It means I have to power off and on everytime I want to come off a page. Can anyone help please...

you have a budget device that has a very unstable ROM that has the System UI (which includes your nav bar and notification bar) that happens to be crashing for some reason. i suggest paying the extra $$ for a higher end device if you want to see Android at its best.

I understand that mate...but would still like to fix it as it does what I need it to do very well. and I am sure there is a fix or something I can do to flash it ...cheers ;-)

Hi there Cambo, I moved your thread into General Tablet Talk, as we don't have a specific forum for CnM tablets.

I think CnM was a house brand of Argos, or they were a UK importer of budget devices who sold them through Argos. The CnM website seems to have gone, Have you tried a reset to factory defaults, see if that clears it? Could be worth contacting Argos about it as well, as they sold the CnM devices.

Yes that's who I got it through a few years back...just can't seem to find a driver for it or no downloads on net at all...will try contacting argos to see if they have a tech side. ..thanks
