Help Help re messaging/notifications

About a fortnight ago I noticed a little symbol in the top corner of the phone a circle with an i in the middle and crossed through, like a no entry sign and since then I cannot get my messages or email notifications to make a sound, all my tones are on but i only know i have a message if the LED is flashing, anyone know what to do to resolve this?

Pull your notification bar down and ensure the notifications are switched on. Its the icon with the circle with an i in it. Should be green

easy your notifications are on mute. to turn this off just press up or down on the volume rocker then a window will pop up u should see an icon on the right looks like a wheel of some sort click that then the menu will expand showing 2 more options the last 1 is the notification sound setting just turn that all the way to the right or middle. if all else fails try turning every sound up
