Help Help! Reader Frozen

I just purchased a Cruz Reader today, which is basically a small tablet. It froze as I had it plugged into my lap top and the lap top rebooted when it added the ereader to it. Now it is frozen and I held the reset down for a full minute, but has not helped. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Does the Cruz reader have a removable battery? If so have you tried pulling the battery before attempting to reboot it?

Thank you for the response. Since it refused to turn off, the battery simply died, and I was able to recharge it and boot it back up satisfactorily.

When I turn my cruz reader on it stops at the opening page that says CRUZ. I get no where. I have tried reset and unplugging the battery, but it still stops at Cruz page.
