Root help recovery

It's been a while since I've used my motion. If I remember correctly it's -
Reboot the phone from the recovery APK - once it starts to boot immediately start pushing the volume (+) up button repeatedly. You'll see the recovery and the boot up screen mixed together and it will look funny... Just keep pressing the volume up button to refresh the screen and then you'll be in recovery.

not sure about the original
but with the 2nd version
repeatedly tap the Back arrow while booting
about halfway through thw 2nd lg logo you will see the screen flicker and cwm in the background
stop tapping the back arrow and tap a volume button
you should now be in recovery
this is very valuable to know
i bootloop all the time
but as long as i didnt screw up the Kernel i can get into 2nd init recovery this way.
but with the 2nd version
