Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. I'm sorry that it's a help request rather than me helping someone else.
I finally got an android smartphone! So far I have found it intuitive and easy except for one thing. The contacts!
As background: I have about 4 gmail accounts for various reasons. A few spam accounts, an old school account, etc. etc.
I have decided that since I have this wonderful phone, I'm going to restructure my life and be organized and efficient.
In doing so, I have made a NEW gmail account that will NOT receive any junk mail and will be my primary calender/tasks/contacts/email account. I will attempt to phase my many other accounts out.
When I got my phone (LG Optimus S), I had not created this new google account yet, and entered my old primary account for all of my information (email synch, market, etc).
I transferred all of my contacts from my old phone to my new phone (about 250), and then they were all erased after I synched my first gmail account. Today, after synching my email from all of my gmail accounts, I went and got my contacts from my old phone RE-transferred, so they are now on my Android.
What I would LIKE to do, is to take all of those 250 contacts, and have them synch to my new primary google account, but I cannot find a way to do this as they are all tied to my old google account that I typed in when I first got the phone.
Secondly, I would like to do the same thing with Android market. I signed up for android market with my old google account, but would much rather it be tied to my new account.
If anyone could please help I would really appreciate it. I'm sorry for such a long post, and I know it's a bit hard to follow and convoluded so if I can clear anything up please let me know.
Thank you so much in advance!
