Help HELP! Restore to Froyo!

How can I uninstall gingerbread on my unrooted droid 2, and re-install the stock Froyo? I need to send my phone back to Verizon, please help!!

I also want to restore to Froyo from GB. Can I simply restore from the Nandroid I created immediately before installing GB? And then restore from the Titanium Backup created at the same time?

Your phone will bootloop if you go from a GB ROM to a Froyo ROM. You will also need to flash the 2.3.2 SBF.

Thanks for the reply. I neglected to mention in my previous post that my phone is rooted. Does that make a difference in how to restore it? I want to go back to rooted Froyo.

Isn't a Nandroid backup an image of the operating system? What is it used for if not to restore the previous operating state/system? I have a Nandroid of rooted Froyo along with a Titanium Backup.

If you rooted and upgraded to the leaked GB, you'll want to SBF back to Froyo and not use the back-up image you created prior to flashing GB. If you restore a FROYO backup while running the GB leak you will boot-loop.

Check out the SBF thread for your particular model, and follow the steps. Once you're done you'll have a factory stock unrooted Droid on your hands ready to be sent back.
