Root Help Rooted Galaxy S SGH-T959V newbie

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 4G
Model SGH-T959V
Firmware Ver. 2.3.6
Baseband Ver. T959VUVKJ6
Kernel Ver. 2.6.35.7-T959VUVKJ6-CL694130
Build Number GINGERBREAD.VUVKJ6

Stock phone has very low system memory. I destroyed my 8gig sd-card trying to create a second partition that the phone could use. My phone was not rooted at the time..I kinda missed that part.

Now I am stuck with an old 2gig sd-card.

I followed instructions to Root the phone with SuperOneClick...successfully. I installed Link2SD on the phone...successfully. I Downloaded Mini Partition Tool to laptop. I created the second partition several ways. Phone could only see a second fat32 Primary partition...it didn't like any of the Ext partitions.

Then I got crazy...I looked around and started to install a bunch of stuff. Some useful, maybe. EX., Superuser, upgraded to Elite, Boot Animations, Boot Animation Shuffle, Titanium Back-up, Rom Manager, Rom Customizer, BusyBox free, AdAway, ZDbox free. I am running ClockworkMod 2.X.X.X

Everything installed ok...but I can't flash anything. From Boot Animation Shuffle, if I install boot animations, it says "installed successfully"...

I try to open zip folders from ROM Manager-- Rom Management--Install ROM from SD card and getError: failed to verify whole-file signature, install aborted.

I have missed something important...
I think I have an oddball Galaxy S 4G...
I am thinking that I am not using the correct Applications.
I know nothing about this, hopefully any answers will be simply explained. Thanks!

--New, partitioned 8G sdCard with a second PRIMARY FAT32 Partition... Thank you Mini Partition Tool Developer!
--Downloaded SuperOneClick onto pc to root phone...Unbelievably easy!!!! Thank you too!
--Downloaded Link2SD onto phone Very Simple! Recognizes second partition!

YAY !!!
My System Memory is now increased via 2nd partition! Thank you -- everyone that develops these apps, and to those who describe how to do it!

Still need help with CWM/TWRP...(I installed CWMRecovery, even though my phone is not supported)...Still not bricked !!! AMAZING.

Please help me with recovery management and flashing Roms with T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G ( SGH-T959V ) This is different than all of the other Galaxy S Phones. Not finding (m)any root function apps that are compatible to this model. Thank You!!!

I did searches on here and google. There are some very helpful Youtube videos too.

I have been doing roots and unlocks for quite some time and have never been in such a pickle, nor have i ever been where i usually cannot fix problem, my current galaxy s 4g sgh-t959v when i was trying to do the heimdall one click back to stock something happened now the screen after the phone froze it now no matter what i do says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode in kies & try again, have tried this for almost 5 hours now, have tried removing software and usb drivers, in fact even removed the one click program i was using, have taken all my stuff such as battery sd and sim out, nothing is working, i am lost for words and at this point need help very badly to get my only phone working again.
