Root help rooting evo 4g with gb 2.3.3

have an evo 4 g from sprint and i tried to root my phone usin revolutionary but all i managed to do was get s-off. can someone please help this nooby out?

It sounds like Revolutionary got part of the job done. Did you tell it to flash clockwork recovery? If so, reboot to the bootloader and select recovery and see what happens. If you get a red triangle, we can fix that. You need recovery to flash the SU file to finish the rooting process.
