Root help: rooting galaxy tab 3 sm-217s

Can someone please give me a step by step description on how to root my tablet. Every video I've watched ends up with it saying my root was unsuccessful a little disheartening. Can anyone help please?? It's also the one for sprint if that makes a difference.

Just did it tonight. My tab 3 is rooted. I have a T217S sprint model

flash: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip (do not use the google play store one)
SuperSU Download
Use: android-armeabi-universal-root-signed (zip file)

but use the above files and programs mentioned above.

Don't forget to make sure you have the USB DRIVER for your samsung galaxy tab 3 already installed on your computer.

Use king root then use replace king user with super su user method.
