My galaxy s3 won't allow me to do anything after the screen timesout. The wallpaper shows, but no icons. None of the buttons work except if I hold down the power button the box comes up giving me the option to turn off or restart, but I'm unable to make a selection. The only thing I can do is take out the battery. When I restart the phone everything is fine, but as soon as the screen turns off it happens again. This just started today. There were 3 apps I installed today. Firefly Go Locker theme and 2 to get gold so I could have it free through getjar. Those were: Walgreens and Vault-hide SMS, Pics and videos. I have Lookout Antivirus. I already uninstalled these 3 apps. I don't know what else to do.

I would assume this issue arose after those apps (now uninstalled) were installed?
Have you changed the background at all after the app uninstall?
