Help Samsung galaxy ring not working

[Android Question]

Some how my phone is not working, it keeps freezing and when i go to my contact or other apps it keeps saying "unfortunately Google Play has stop" and "Unfortunately your media has stop" etc. I have try re boosting, and also my sound don't work. When I call it does not ring or dialing. There is no voice sound. Some time there will be sounds but that only some time when i have my headset on that only how can call, other then that it does not work. Can some one please help me. I got this phone not too long ago. Or should I just get a new phone?

Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

This sounds like an excellent time for a factory reset. Doing so will restore your phone to out-of-the-box condition, and should eliminate any errors you're getting. It will wipe your apps, user data, settings, etc. Your apps can be re-installed from Play; but you will want to back up critical user data to a PC first. And remove the microSD card before you wipe the phone: a factory reset should not touch data on the card, but to be safe I always remove it anyway.

When you're ready, go to Settings --> Backup and Reset --> Factory Data Reset and follow the prompts and get through all the warnings.
