Help!! Screen is water damaged?

I bought a Motorola Droid 3 a few weeks ago and last weekend it fell out of my pocket and into the toilet. I took the battery out, dried everything, and left it in rice. After I turned it on again it was working absolutely fine except you could see some water damage in the screen. I was using it the other night and the screen suddenly turned really dim. If i put it in bright light i can see the screen but otherwise its close to impossible to read or see anything. Now this is the only thing wrong with it. Please help, its a brand new phone and I paid a lot :(!!!

In LCD Computer monitors, this happens when the LCD Power Inverter is shot. It's possible that there is a mini version of this part inside your phone that has shorted our. It's a pretty easy fix on a computer, but probably not so easy on a phone.

It's also possible that the inverter is built into the screen/digitizer:

OEM Motorola Droid 3 Replacement Screen Digitizer

This might be what you need, but I can't be sure.

Good luck.

Put phone in an airtight bag filled with Rice for three days !!
Replace rice after every 24 hours :D

Maybe it will work(or not , worked for my older phone )
