Help HELP!!! Screen keeps turning back on, it won't turn off

When the screen goes off, about 3-4 sec. it turns right back on & will stay on until I force it to turn it off... Driving me crazzy!!!!
I just installed the extended battery (SEIDIO 3000mAh) but everything seem to go fine until 2 hrs. after installation. Tried almost everything to solve the problem except hard reset. Is this my only option???

Happens to me sometimes as well. Would like to know if there is a fix.

hard reset won't help; Froyo fixes this(for me @least)

Make sure ur phone isn't goin into time without signal as I think that can be a culprit of this...
