This might be a question for another forum as well, but this is something any of us could potentially deal with so I am going to see if we can work here first.
I got a class 10 SD from the electronics store. I formatted it with an ext3 partition, etc. Later, the ROM said that my SD card was damaged after using it for a few days. Now, my PC says the SD card is locked when I try to format it. Any ideas?
I'm pretty sure the hardware is bad, but is there a software method to overcome the lock? Is there a hardware method? I read something about tape, but I'm not sure I understand what the writer was talking about. SD cards are not like the old 3.5" disks. If someone knows that tape method, and can make sense of it, please do so. Any other ideas are also welcome. Thank you in advance.
