i cant upgrade to 2.3.5 and i tried several methods still nothing works

Hello i hope this helps
The users from Malaysia and India has problem in downloading this update or either update is not available to them as of now. Also Shank notified us that the last letter on the messaging screen in getting faded off with this update. I hope HTC is listening to this and will offer a better update soon.

I'm also from Malayia, I have the same problem before, my other friends can upgrade to 2.3.5 but I can not, I already tried all sorts of ways as suggested by other colleagues, I finally went to the service center for the upgrade, wait for an hour and now I have sense 2.3.5 ...

If you still cannot get this upgrade in HTC incredible S, please kindly change the date on your phone later than the real date by the following steps:
Homepage--menu--settings--date& time--uncheck automatic--set date

or go to your nearest HTC service centre....

I am having the same problem in Pakistan, haven't received 2.3.5 upgrade tried even switching the time manually to future; got a call from HTC yesterday saying upgrade is not available for incredible S any more since they encountered some problem with their servers :S.
