I know notifications have always been a problem on Android phones, or at least on the HTC phones that I've had in the past. I just got the DNA this week. There is the usual option to set your default (system) notification sound in the sound profiles under main settings/personalize (Menu/Settings/Sound/Notification Sounds/Default Notification). But, there's also an option for setting an individual notification sound for your voicemail in the voicemail settings (Voicemail/Menu/Settings/Voicemail Settings/Notification Sound). However, when I set/apply my sound file for voicemail notifications, it still uses the sound file that I have set for the default system notifications.
Does anyone else have this problem, or know of a solution? Using a different sound file for voicemail notification? The option is there, but it still gets overridden by the default notification. I'd like other people to test and confirm this for me. Using separate sound files for Voicemail Notification and Default Notification?
