HELP!! Sheriff Android Locked My Phone!!!

While install the Sheriff Android security app, my doctors office chose to call at that precise moment and the conversation was so long that I forgot I had been installing the app and now my phone is locked and I cannot figure out the password for it. Is there an app or some other way to get around this security lock without me having to go up to MetroPCS because I do not have money to pay them to do some simple stupid trick and I have only 3 more hours to make a seriously important medical call. Nevermind, :-O suddenly remembered my laptop internet password and figured it out-DUUUHHHH. I would like to know what to do in case this happens in the event (God forbid) I don't remember (happens a lot because a disease is eating away at my brain). In searching, I found a Phone Unlocker in the Market (aka Google Play). Could someone explain tho, how it works? I don't know if I'm allowed to put the link in (got temporarily banned for that trying to explain what I needed help with but was reinstated-thank you) Thank you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your condition. I don't know much about security apps, but since you know that remembering passwords is difficult with your illness, you might consider something else. I use an app that, if the phone is lost or stolen, you can go on a browser or text the phone to find its location. It's called Where's My Droid.

You are going to need to factory reset the phone I'm afraid. Especially if the app is now a device administrator.
