Help Help Starting Over

Hey all! I just lost all my contacts and i did not have a good backup. I figured it would be the perfect time to redo my phone because it had become sluggish. My question is how can i get rid of everything and set it back to factory default and still have service and such. Also what would be the first thing you would do to your thunderbolt? Any help would be nice

Hit menu, settings, SD and phone storage to do a data wipe. First thing I would do is save all my contacts to my Gmail account.

Get a backup app (Titanium Backup is preferred) and backup all your apps (it'll backup game progress etc). Then do a data wipe.

TxGoat, you should be sure people are aware that TiBu requires root when you suggest it to people. it's kind of critical information, especially for someone asking how to "start over". In fact, MOST backup apps that can backup game progress will likely require root.
