Help help stop the adds

Good grief, i have been hammered by adds and push notifications and i cant figure how to stop them. i downloaded an add blocker of some sorts and i looked through it and it looks like they are coming from NETWORK. I would deleted it from my apps but scared it will mess my phone up. not sure if i need it or not. somebody please help, i cant take it anymore. im getting up to 15-20 adds and notifications a day.
 
Sounds to me like you have push ads. There are apps on the play store that will tell you what app is causing it.
 
This may help and I'm doing this from memory so bear with me if I have it slightly wrong.

When you get one of these ad notices, pull down from the top of the screen so the notification is visible but don't activate the ad or clear it. Press and hold the ad (A long press should do it) and when you do that it should come up with a requester that says App info. Select it and it should take you to that app info screen. You can deselect Show Notifications and it will disable the app from sending any more.

You can delete the app or replace it if need be.
 
Thanks guys for all your help, but i think i know what app it is. i think its coming from an app called Network. Well i think its an app. Its not in my app drawer but its in my application manager. How can i stop it from sending them. i cant figure it out. afraid to mess it up if i need it.
 
well i did a scan and it is coming from the app or whatever it is called Network. i never downloaded Network. Not sure if i can delete it.

You didn't have to delete the app. If your phone is rooted you could have used Titanium Backup to freeze the app to see if the app's unavailability would harm the phone... just for future reference. ;)
