First please excuse my english, I live in Argentina and we speak spanish here
I just got my x10 yesterday and im still getting used to it. It is also my first android phone. I used to have an omnia and im used to the numerical pad for texting. My question is this: Is there a way to text using a numerical pad like in old phones? Is there an app for this? Please help me it takes me like 5 minutes to write a 10 word text message. Thanks in advance you beautiful people.

well welcome to a better world with android.
As to your question I have read that Handcent dose this. Its free and can be found in the market. You can see here that it is showing t9 styled chat. Also read in the forum here that "Better Keyboard" does this as well.
Good luck
