Hi, I just started using my work email on my phone, but I want to disable the sound when I get an email, especially when I'm work, since I'm in front of my computer. If I silent notifications, then it silents text message notifications. Is there a way to silent work email notification but not text message notifications? I clicked silent under the settings in the @email app, but I'm still getting sounds.

In the settings for your email app (the one you are using for work email) you should be able to disable notifications there. Most times it is something like Settings | you@email.com | Enable Notifications but varies a little depending the email client you are using.

If it's the default Email application then launch it and go into your works email account. Then tap Menu > More > Account Settings > Select ringtone and select Silent from the list (should be the second entry from the top under Default).
