First, I've read this thread a couple times:

So that gives me some understanding. What I want to know is, just how much different are the two when it comes to theming? How can I theme deodex in ways that I can't theme odex? The xda guide talks about zip aligned apk's. With odex'd ROMs (which, as far as I know, is the only kind I've flashed so far) are they already zip aligned? And last noob query, someone commented on that thread about it being safer to re-odex after theming, or something like that. Any and all help understanding this is very appreciated
