Help Help update the phone?

Hello guy I have the samsung gio and would like to know how can I update my gingerbread 2.3.3 to latest version ( because I heard someone had higher then that...)

Btw I do not want to root my phone just update it to latest frimware.

Alright I learned its by using KIES but now I get this :

I recommend that you call your service provider, and check if there is an update provided by kies. They should know for sure. If there is not, you will not be able to update your phone without rooting.
