Download KIEs mini from here.

Samsung GALAXY S - Galaxy S - Android - Smartphones | SAMSUNG

Install it, plug your Galaxy S in, and pray that it works. Seriously. KIEs is moody at best even when on Windows.

Kies Mini for Mac will only work with Wave models, Galaxy models are not supported. The best thing you can do is run Bootcamp on your Mac or find a friend who uses Windows (that's what i did).
